It’s very good as far as I can tell, though I have not yet listened to it all, just sampled it. It’s six discs, the first five contain two original soundtrack albums each, the sixth CD is a collection of “this and that”, there’s a piece from THEY CALL ME MISTER TIBBS (where I have the OST), THE ANDERSON TAPES, ROOTS, etc. There are also two tracks from THE GETAWAY.

I listened to IN COLD BLOOD so far and think it’s a great score (and one I didn’t habe before… I think I only had MIRAGE of the albums in the set, which is why I didn’t double up on too much), no need to be “afraid” of it. It may not be “Mancini-light”, but it’s also not thorny, at least not for those who are familiar with Lalo Schifrin suspense scores from the time.
