I was really impressed by what Daniel Pemberton wrote for the noir-ish MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN in 2019 – a lot of jazzy, sweltering city soundscapes that no doubt pointed to the legacy of TAXI DRIVER and CHINATOWN.
