    just want the curated album. Nothing more, nothing less

    But, as I pointed out, if that’s all you want, you can have it. It’s there. If all you want is the original album, you can listen to exactly that. Nothing stops you from ignoring the rest. No one is forcing you to hear a single alternate cue. (Especially not if you wouldn’t buy the album anyway because of the high prices.)
    But the frequency and intensity of your objections make it seem as if the real issue is not your preference, but your discomfort with labels also catering to people who enjoy and prefer their compositions to be released complete. Wanting your version is fine. Wanting it to be the only available version is something entirely different.
    Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be either or, and the way music is currently released, and especially since most people listen to files nowadays anyway and anyone can easily edit and cut their music in any way shape or form they want if they feel so inclined, everyone can have their cake. That’s how it should be.
