Reply To: Your top 5 Miklós Rózsa albums
I have the old version on my libary service and only sampled it. Since Rozsas are never really bad it seemed like a routine score though. The BACKGROUND TO SILENCE suite is great though. I have it on thte on Varese with the LUST FOR LIFE suite.
BSX is at it with the AI shit again….”Rósza”, “Eedebal Bureau of Investigation”. It seems to have been corrected now, but it’s probably still on the CDs. Absolutely bonkers stuff, I’ll rather take Banning’s mediocre art.
Indeed, I prefer even their usual odd typographic choices… (and look at the website which still looks like early internet days…)You really don’t need much to get a more or less proper layout if you don’t have the actual film artwork at hand…. A lots of classical labels show this frequently (some better than others). Even Musicbox does this on their composer compilations if you create a series base layout you just vary…
What’s next? Will they use AI to write lines notes cobbled together from wikipedia? Will they generate their cover versions via AI as well?
But maybe they should use AI for their customer relations as there seem to be frequent complains 😉
