I’ve entered my favourite Williams period now, from EMPIRE OF THE SUN onwards, to 2005 (on BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY as I write this).

By the way, I’ve divided Williams’ career rougly into these four main periods, and here’s how I rank them:

1. 1987-2005 (18 years)
2. 1958-1974 (16 years)
3. 1975-1986 (11 years — for most people his “golden period”, for me not necessarily so, although I like it a lot)
4. 2006-present (20 years)
