I make playlists all the time, and have become reasonably good at it, but I’d rather not. I’d rather the album comes ready-made by the composer or producer. But quite often, I have to if I am to have any kind of meaningful relationship to an album.

Those old Mancini albums are ideal ways to present film music, in my opinion. But I understand that if you want the music exactly as it was in the film, they may cause frustration.
