I probably would do the periods exactly like that I haven’t exactly thought about that. My least favorite period is probably the 50s to late 60s before the “actual” Williams sound surfaced.

If you’d asked me when I was in my twenties, I would probably have said the same thing. But this period has skyrocketed to become the second favourite. Incredibly versatile, as you say, but also fascinating to go treasure hunting for all the seeds that would later grow into the Williams we know. With HEIDI onwards, that aspect is kinda lost. Plus, I’ve always been obsessed with artist beginnings, be it composers, filmmakers, painters, authors, you name it.
