[Cailin]

Hello film music friends!
I’m Cailin, a film score enthusiast from the mountains of Northern California. I’ve been a film score fan since age 6, when James Horner whisked me away on an emotional journey beginning in the opening credits of An American Tail. I had the cassette soundtrack repeating on my Walkman at age 7, and would swing at the local park listening to it. Over 35 years later, listening to film scores is still my favorite pastime. My husband likes to joke that film scores were my first love, but essentially he’s not wrong. I love sharing favorite music with others, but it’s a passion that has been hard to find matched anywhere else but online with you fine people. Full transparency, I don’t like to grumble too much or put down any artist’s work too harshly, so on this forum, you can expect to hear from me what I enjoy most or highlight what’s positive in a score, and I won’t so much be participating in griping about poorly executed art.
