The Night Manager: Season 2 – Federico Jusid
I really enjoyed the score by Victor Reyes for the first season when it came out 10 years ago. I recently revisited it and still did. I really like Jusid’s music usually, but this unfortunatly isn’t that great. It’s a lot of meandering with here and there some nice moments. Shame.
Jusid’s title theme for season 1 was one of my favourite themes of that year. And I was looking forward to seeing what he would do for the season 2 version. Didn’t really like the update. What happened with the theme was mirrored in the wider score too.
