Of course it has to be regarded in the row CE3K, E.T. and War of the Worlds as one of Spielberg’s aliens come to earth movies. Maybe even Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull should be counted in.
And I already like that the title theme doesn’t sound like any of these previous movies.
