Another thing I encounter with age that I less and less regard music something completely of its own independent from space and time.
It is more and more something I regard in context of a certain situation.
Like there is the right clothing for each weather condition the music I listen to has to resonate with my current state of mind. So the same music can excite me or bore me. It can Touch me emotionally or leave me cold. Depending on my current sensitivity, mood, thoughts etc.
