Man, all of these selections are great! As a big enthusiast of his work as well, I find it amazing how much more there is to learn about Ifukube outside of the Kaiju genre of his music. Good list!

I wish music from “Roar and Earth” (1957), “Castle of Flames” (1960), “The Great Wall” (1962) and more was released. Their music’s great. Nekohachi Idoya on YouTube has been one of my inspirations for me to dive deeper into Ifukube’s film discography! Lots of rare and hidden gems. I also wish the rest of the master tapes for movies featured on the 4th disc of the Three Shells Nikkatsu film music collection were released as what’s shown is just film audio. I am very fond of “The Three Faces” (1955)’s “Main Title” cue!

By the way, here are my selections:
    1. “The Little Prince and the Eight-Headed Dragon” (1963)
    2. “The Mysterians” (1957)
    3. “Godzilla vs Destoroyah” (1995)
    4. “Godzilla vs King Ghidorah” (1991)
    5. “Yagyū Martial Arts Journal: Twin-Dragon Secret Sword”
    6. “Varan” (1958)
    7. “Shinobi no Mono: Saizō Kirigakure” (1964)
    8. “The Thirteen Assassins” (1963)
    9. “Boss of the Underworld” (1959)
    10. “Break Down that Wall” (1959)
