Whichever way they distribute doesn’t matter much to me, but I’m intrigued by their recent release of Loek Dikker’s FELICE FELICE, which I’m not familiar with. I ran into Dikker in 2011, at a film music event here in Norway, but sadly didn’t get to chat much. However, he’s a composer I’ve been aware of forever, primarily through his work for Paul Verhoeven’s THE FOURTH MAN and then the 90s sleeper hit BODY PARTS. And, in more childish terms, he has a funny name in Norwegian/English, with both names a slang for the male genitals (Loek/’løk’ – original Norwegian meaning ‘onion’, and then obviously Dikker).
