I always find it pretty amazing that this came out in 1974. Yes, you can hear some of that late 60s synth tech (Wendy Carlos-like vocoders and Minimoog, as well as the brand new ARP Odyssey), but it’s still very ahead of its time in terms of how the tech is infused with pop and psychedelia. This, and Vangelis’ L’APOCALYPSE DES ANIMAUX (which came out the year before), always blow my mind in that regard.
