Far more disconcerting than CD-Rs, I just discovered that my regular CD of FIVE SACRED TREES skips like there’s no tomorrow (to be precise, in the last movement of the Williams concerto and the beginning of the Takemitsu)! Damnit, this is my favourite concert work by Williams and a great disc altogether. I didn’t expect to re-buy stuff I already own, and for probably exorbitant prices. 🙁

The culprit is two scratches, it appears. Which is weird, because I’ve always treated this and all my other CDs with care.

This is the type of thing I dread while going through my CDs systematically.
