I didn’t quite make it into posting in the first half of 2026 but at least I eventually did post it. As usual, my selections are somewhat obscure – but not too obscure if you follow my #WeeklyRecommendations posts. And, as previous years, these may not be the “best”, but they are my favourite scores of 2025; they contain music that I found particularly enjoyable, and resonated with my own tastes.

If they are unfamiliar titles I hope people will discover some albums they like and that they would not have discovered otherwise.
