I’m only familiar with a tiny fraction of Georg Philipp Telemann’s enormous output, so I’m not of help either. So I can’t even list three “must haves”.
However, I can recommend this recording here, which contains three concerti by three different composers, one by Telemann. But it’s not a Telemann-specific recording.
