I wouldn’t have minded Göransson either, if he was stuck composing things I had no interest in. Or if he wasn’t so revered. But like Giacchino, it’s the “Emperor’s New Clothes” syndrome, plus the fact that they wriggle their way in to things I DO have an interest in. I becomes kinda difficult to ignore. It becomes very present in my field of vision and thus annoying instead.
