Reply To: The Classical Music Thread
I don’t know much of Grieg apart from the towering piano concerto, Peer Gynt, the Holberg Suite and that wedding day piano piece. Looking at his works I’m surprised to see a symphony (and sketches for a second one) which I’d like to hunt out. Otherwise, I’m not a huge fan of songs and solo piano works.
Really a big Grieg supporter, Thor? Or is it like me saying, yeah, Elgar could beat up Smetana any day of the week!
