Reply To: What would you do if you won a hundred million dollars?

There are many things I would do if I won a hundred million dollars, and several of them have no or very little interest to you.

But one thing might (I touched on this in the first post). I would spend 10-15 million dollars on buying an apartment complex nearby. I would rent out, or let the owners of the apartments in the floors above ground continue to live there. But the ground floor, which is reserved for commercial activity, I would turn into a hub for film music things. There would be a common room for lunch, but four main offices. One would be for my festival idea (probably two people who work on that). The second would be for my soundtrack label idea (again two people). The third would be a rental, maybe for the film magazine I occasionally write for. The fourth would be mine, where I oversee all the activities, and write about film music. Also a corner with a recording studio where I record the podcasts. There’s also a back yard, two toilettes and – hopefully – a small, private cinema for certain screenings.

I also toyed with the idea of having a film café/pub in the same building, on the ground floor (maybe with a small store where you could buy soundtracks), but it might interfere with the work activity.
