    This is an ancient topic I bumped at FSM; took me forever to locate the thread, thanks to their search (dys)function.

    I’m pretty certain my answer to the question is “Yes.” Except Blade Runner!

    Other than Star Wars and Star Trek, I was never really a “sci-fi” fan. I viewed it as a platform for an adventure without limits to take place, but even as a youngster I disliked what was to me “obvious”, often ham-fisted allegories in many sci-fi productions. Star Trek (TOS) was especially guilty of this.
