I recently read that some CD sales increase recently was because of K-Pop fans who – like it is said for many vinyl buyers – buy them as a collectible but not for listening to them. Since they don’t have any player for that anymore.
Probably it will not help 2nd market in general. But I rather assume that we in our niche within the niche will probably not see much of a change.
