I find it interesting that over all this time the prices for CDs remained relatively stable, but the prices for LPs exploded. When CD started at the end of the 80s, the price was at 30 DM, which is about 15 Euro. Nice Price was 20 DM, 10 Euro. LPs costed between 12 an 20 DM which is 6 to 10 Euro. Compare that with today’s prices. Vinyl was the cheap medium.
