A few years ago I played the videogame BIOSHOCK and found that was one of the best “steampunk” science-fiction stories I have ever encountered. Not a movie, not a series, not a book, no but, surprisingly, a video game. I only play video games once every few years or so, and mostly not for the story, but I was impressed by the “world building” of BIOSHOCK. That’s one of the very few video games I’d think has excellent potential to be made into an excellent (and quite dark) steampunk science-fiction movie.
