1. But food and drinks were always overly expensive in cinemas so I always passed on that. But yes its expensive and never used the car but public transportation also costs (since I work from home I don’t have our special ticket as it does not pay off)

2. I found that on some cinemas the sound is generally too loud and even distored. Imax is nice but even more expensive 😉 My TV is already older and not that large – 4k would be a waste here – and will be used until it breaks (knock on wood it doesn’t too soon).

3. Indeed or it does not really matter. I like the atmosphere in general and the big screen, Imax or not, but I indeed mostly watch “spectacles” in the cinemas. All else works for me on the small screen, too. However my nephews got a beamer and I must say that is nice 😉
