I like Gil Talmi’s more orchestral scores, like FORGOTTEN ELLIS ISLAND and SAVANNAH, but on this concept studio album (at a whopping 72 minutes), he tries his hand on electronics. It’s an uneven affair — some potential as he veers more towards artsy synthpop than synthwave, so it’s quite static. But might grow on me.
