Indeed.
Because Universal managed to keep most of the crew together from the first film (sans Spielberg, of course), the whole production still has the vibe/sheen and quality of the first film, albeit diluted somewhat.
It’s a well mounted and handsome production, with some excellent set pieces.
And John Williams, at his peak, delivering another stellar score, cannot be underestimated.
I still enjoy JAWS 2 whenever I catch a showing of it on TV. Fond childhood memories of seeing it in the cinema, late 70s, as an early teen.
