Unlike many of my acquisitions, I have very specific memories of acquiring the JAWS IV promo CD, before it was reissued commercially. Laurent Watteau, who occasionally posts on FSM, sent it to me, maybe some 20 years ago (I’ve tried to contact him recently, btw, in order to invite him here, but he’s not responded to my PMs on FSM). I primarily needed it for completist purposes, but I didn’t really need it – in retrospect – nor Parker’s JAWS 3D, for that matter. It has some okay passages, but as Graham says, mostly unremarkable suspense cues and the like. Not quite up to Small’s usual standard, IMO.
