Thanks for the MacBeth review. Don’t think I saw the Branagh version. I also remember the Polanski version well which I saw in school the first time actually! This one sounds like it could be right in my alley. (Btw, I think you actually meant “expressionistic” instead of “impressionistic silent movie”?)
