I think a lot of it is habit forming.
I visited here on the odd occasion, but a new forum, with its layout, can take time to become familiar.
Now it’s part of my routine.
I actually think the traffic here, at this moment in time, is faster than at FSM.
They have become my two main stops in the day, and I’ve noticed there’s hardly any chat happening at FSM (I know it’s USA centric and there’s a bigger time difference, but still, the new posts ratio on there has become so static).
Even though the viewership here is much smaller, you’re much more likely to receive a quicker response to get a chat going or join in on one.
I thought the likes of Jim Phelps and Thomas might join in here. One could sense a growing disdain for the FSM forum from them.
Maybe movie score chat is just dying out in general?
Aren’t there movie score chats on Facebook, Twitter or other social media sites? I don’t indulge in any of those places. Never have, never will.
