Zimmer is a composer I can never deduce, from hearing the music.
I don’t know if it’s due to the diluted nature of his composing, and the multiple hands involved within each score (plus a general lack of interest overall, compared to other composers I like much more).
Something like Lion King sounds more like Mark Mancina to me at times, especially after hearing things like Brother Bear and Tarzan.
I can probably spot Zimmer more than George Fenton though 😉
