Yes, I’m surprised about Jim Phelps too. Said hello, and then another post much later. And then nothing. Maybe he’ll decide to partake more eventually, I hope so.
As I mentioned earlier, “Irish” Thomas is a big mystery. I tried really hard to track him down, through all kinds of channels, but failed. I hope he’s okay. The Belgian Thomas (Glorieux), on the other hand, I have hopes for. He says his life is crazy at the moment, and I also think he and other Maintitlers have a hard time letting that place go (even though it died many years ago). But let’s hope he joins…maybe for the next Zoom chat, which will probably be a Christmas edition.
You’re definitely right that film music discussion on traditional messageboards is a ‘dinosaur’ thing. Most of it happens on social media now. But I absolutely hate it, the interface, the tone, everything. I will never, ever, migrate there.
