I’ve noticed lately, when digging out an old CD for a replay, I’ve sometimes left the track number whittle note that I did previously, in the CD case and, upon replay, would do it a bit differently this time around!!
Some tracks I’d kept (on various mp3 player/device) no longer appealed to me as much, and other tracks I’d dropped sounded much better to my ears.
So your mood and that particular moment in time is also a factor, certainly for me.
That’s why I still love returning to the actual CD for a fresh new listen/experience.
