I still like them, but I guess few people nowadays bother, certainly no casual listeners.

Well, most are just “radio type listeners” that don’t care that much and just listen. I even know people that rarely listen to music over the day (of course on work you probably can’t generally) but even otherwise.

And of course we especially were within a super niche when I stared to dive in end of 80s/early 90s and we actually still are 😉
