Yeah, nothing against Mark Hart (he did okay with a group like Crowded House), but another Hodgson he was not. The group was vibrant when it had that interplay between Hodgson’s natural, poppy falsetto (Hart’s is more strained) and Davies’ hoarse, bluesy, low-register voice.
