Prokofiev’s symphonies and piano concertos are very worth exploring.
I second that! IVAN THE TERRIBLE is also a good score. The concert scenario arranged by Christopher Palmer and conducted by Neeme Järvi is great. Haven’t heard the 2CD version conducted by Frank Strobel though.
