Actually, strike that. I did pick up a couple of CDs just this summer, at a used record shop in Denmark. Vangelis’ CHARIOTS OF FIRE and Preisner’s BLEU for 30 DKK each, which equals about 45 NOK, or $ 4.5. That’s a deal, sort of. So I’m sure deals like that can still be made is you’re just walking into a used record store (in a smaller city) and look randomly through the shelves. But I’m primarily looking for the 40-50 items on my want list, and I’ve been unable to find any of them for any kind of deal for many, many years now. They just sit there, on my list, staring cloyingly at me.
