It was one of those albums I was always interested in, and I still think I’ll get the LP one day if I find a copy in goog condition for a good price. The original release had a peculiar error, as the tracks were mislabeled, the last two tracks were combined to the first track, and the first track divided into the final two tracks. I do have the remastered version with the corrected tracks. I really like this album a lot. I see this as a “companion piece” of sort to Vangelis’ “Direct”, not in the sense that they are alike, but that they are at the exact opposite spectrum of Vangelis’ output, like two very different sides of a coin. “Direct” is full of pop beats, melody, immediately striking tracks, very accessible, whereas “Invisible Connections” is the exact opposite, very abstract, sparse sonic landscapes. That these albums came out consecutively is quite interesting. I really like both a lot, and interestingly, I liked both right away upon first hearing.
