I’ve never really gone to Elliot Goldenthal for religious-sounding music myself, but I agree there are a few bits in ALIEN 3 (for obvious reasons, it has a lot of Christian symbolism). He’s too “rough around the edges” to really go into that psalm-like, consonant sound with open arms.
