Listening to the GREENLAND 2 album now. I don’t quite get the same associations Jon did. There are several contemporary tropes – static thriller elements etc. But some bits and pieces that are quite nice. The choral overlays, a few synth elements. Some of it sounds like JNH in recent years, for better or worse. In either case, the succinct running time helps a lot.
