Yes, I think that sums it up nicely.

I’m of the firm belief that film music has its own set of characteristics (even if many of them are imported from earlier times), mostly in the way it behaves and “moves”. My lack of musical knowledge prevents me from being more specific than I have.

Would be interesting to have a quiz some time, “Film Music or Not?”. I’ll see if I can put one together at some point.
