I thought if anyone can be found, it just hast to be an Indian film composer. 🙂
Though Ilaiyaraaja’s fame seems to be more reginal, not international like Morricone, so I don’t know if I would consider him a “major” film composer. I mean, while I know the name, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie he scored or have an album of his music in my collection. Not even sure I ever heard anything by him. (Not that I consider that a reliable benchmark for anything.)
