This 2007 score is in my opinion a much more interesting and rewarding work than the 1998 album about renaissance man El Greco. Love those choral bits — there are some that remind me of Zimmer’s CRIMSON TIDE here, of all things. Lusher, less of the thin synth lute and other period-specific shenanigans.
