I know the movie is a strange, goofy mega box office bomb, but John Barry’s score is one of my favorites. It’s typical 80s Barry, but it’s a mix of everything Barry had to offer in that period, it’s got adventure music, laid back loungy music, sweeping strings, comedic interludes, varied orchestration, lots of different themes and moods… Definitely one of Barry’s finest scores of the decade.
