Yeah, my digital collection also is not easily replaceable. I have not even imported all of my CDs yet, only occasional oness. I had a failure of an external hardrive years ago and gladly it somewhat “announced” it so I could in time backup everything in time before it died.
If I do the cumbersome taks of importing one of my CDs I do it lossless. As said before I don’t really hear tthe difference to a 320 mp3 or AAC file at all, too.
