Exactly how I would do it! On boxes with one work e.g. symphony per disc I might. Case by case basis
Btw, since Apple Music (formerly iTunes) does generally not display the separate composer field I alwaas name my “interpreter” like this
“Composer – Orchestra, conductor – somesolist, instrument” or “Composer – Lyrics by someone – Vocal by someone – Arranged by someone”
Interpreter is important but the composer to me is the primary. Also always set the album interpreter to the composer or composers, except a compilation with just one or two tracks by each.
