Well, the “album artist” tag is obviously Ennio Morricone, which keeps the album together, in iTunes and in all other systems I use. Individual artist/composer tags can differ, so I always assign them correctly. That’s actually the reason there’s an “artist” and a separate “album artist” tag in the first place, and all players, renderers, and software I’ve used interpret these fields as intended. “Album Artist” is for albums, “Artist” is for tracks.
