Reply To: Who should take over the STAR WARS series after Williams?
BUT I just rewatched THE LAST JEDI yesterday, and noticed a brief cameo of Williams’ THE LONG GOODBYE theme during the Canto Bight sequence. Wow, cute. This is probably common knowledge to everyone, but wasn’t to me. Only took me close to a decade and some 3-4 rewatches.
I didn’t know that and don’t even remember the scene. Is that on the album? I think I only knew the more or less hidden Emperor theme at the end of EP1.
But I remember a slight citation of the Imperial March – might be unintended coincidence due to similar harmonics – in WAR OF THE WORLDS. Anyone caught that before?
