I wonder if I am ever going to buy a box set again in my life. I don’t see anything relevant for.me at the horizon.
Maybe the Sony John Williams anthology Vol.3 if it contains something interesting.
Maybe next year there will be a Star Wars anniversary box set with previously unreleased music (I don’t believe it yet).
I have the Star Wars Anthology. There are a handful of John Williams scores I prefer in complete form (The OT, Jaws, Close Encounters), and it still sounds the best of any release. I just wish CD1 wasn’t the album cuts rearranged in loose chronological order.
Yes. I am very happy with that anthology set, too. But it’s kind of time for an upgrade.
