That’s irritating. Doesn’t apply to us, because we’re not part of the EU (although I wish we were), but it just adds to the threats. So that’s on top of regular customs, then?

I’ve been thinking of ordering some CDs now, since the exchange rate for the dollar is lower than it has been for a while (but still high, and it’s risen a bit in recent days). And exchange rate is one of the four threats. But even with that in mind, and the free shipping for $50 offer at Amazon, each CD remains expensive, and the customs rates on top of that are high. The goal is, as ever, to get a CD for what a full-price CD cost up to a few years ago. That is, about $16-17, max. Preferably a lot lower, of course (less than $10 in total). It’s proving very difficult.
